Customer Support Technician

We currently have an opening for a customer service/technical support employee to work on site at our Reno, NV office. Anyone applying for this position must have experience with DNS, SMTP, HTTP and other related internet protocols. We have two openings, one full time employee (8 hours a day) and one part time position (4 hours a day). The Day to day job duties for these positions include:

  • Provide phone based Technical Support.
  • Handle E-mail and Online Technical Support.
  • Handle phone based pre-sales questions.
  • Escalate problems to 2nd Level Engineers when necessary.

A qualified candidate for these positions will have the following skills:

  • Working knowledge of DNS.
  • Experience in an IT Customer Service or similar position.
  • Knowledge of SMTP, HTTP and FTP protocols.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.

Additional desired skills:

  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Knowledge of the Mac OSX operating system
  • Fluency in Spanish, French and other languages
